We ended the GiveOrcas Campaign on a high note, fully funding all 27 proposals. Thanks to all 672 donors who collectively contributed $374,171. What amazing support from and for this community!
The Grants Award Celebration will be this Thursday, May 19 from 4-6 in the courtyard at the Episcopal Church. Given the current Covid situation, we will be outside, so dress accordingly and bring a mask. The OISD Senior Class will be announcing their Grant Awards, which is always a heartwarming experience. They have $10,000 to give, and it is always interesting to hear how they made their decisions.
I am deeply grateful to all who made this such a successful campaign — our nonprofit partners, grants committee volunteers, and our donors. It was quite the team this year!
