Wow!  Unique Donor Day was WILD! 532 donations for a total of $17,900- a new record!

Congratulations to Friends of Moran, who won first place with 76 donors and the $1000 grand prize. The Early Childhood Education Initiative and Hearts and Hands (the Senior Center) tied for second with 65 donors each, so OICF awarded both an additional $500. Thank you to everyone who contributed.

The Holiday Catalog continues through next Friday, December 20th and there are still plenty of great opportunities to support – www.giveorcas.org.

OICF has had a banner year as far as grants are concerned. Between the Annual Give Orcas campaign this Spring, the April’s Groove Campaign in July and the current Holiday Catalog, over 1500 donors have contributed $542,000–remarkable support for this community! When you add in all the Donor Advised grants and distributions from endowments and designated funds, OICF has distributed over $3 million in grants during 2019. Truly amazing.

This momentum is made possible because of you. I am deeply grateful.

For those of you who missed the Artisan’s Fair at the Oddfellow Hall last weekend, several of the artists have opened a pop up store in the vacant space between Ray’s Pharmacy and Kathryn Taylor Chocolates. Looks like they have a great selection of arts and crafts.

Hope you have a lovely weekend!
