We’re a few days into the Spring GiveOrcas campaign, and together we’re making great progress investing in innovative programs that make our island so remarkable. GiveOrcas isn’t just about funding our nonprofits – it’s about building community care, connection, and resilience right here, in this place we all love.

It’s an opportunity to keep this community thriving by supporting every family’s access to health and social services and animal care, stewarding the Salish Sea and our wild places, ensuring high quality education and access to enriching youth activities and senior services, stimulating economic growth and leadership, and uplifting the arts and cultural organizations that provide endless opportunities for entertainment and community connection. Every contribution helps.

Yesterday alone, on Unique Donor Day, nearly 600 donors of all ages contributed $46,771 towards 35 island nonprofits! Congratulations to our Unique Donor Day winners!

  • 1st place, $1,000 prize: Orcas Senior Center with 89 donors
  • 2nd place, $500 prize: Orcas Community Resource Center with 68 donors
  • 3rd place, $250 prize: Orcas Animal Protection Society with 61 donors

In just three days, the community has given a total of $174,981, 32% of our largest goal yet. Here’s our total progress to date:
