Andrew and Emily Youngren, who own the PrintShop in Eastsound Square, have come up with a great way to support the community. On Saturday, November 4th they are donating all the proceeds from sales for the day to seven community programs. Shoppers can assign their purchase price (the WHOLE AMOUNT!) to:

  • Forrest School
  • Friends of Moran
  • Funhouse
  • Exchange
  • Coffelt Farm Stewards
  • Education Foundation (OIEF)    or
  • Community Foundation (OICF)

This means you can purchase t-shirts, hats, bags and tea towels and every cent of your purchase will be given to the nonprofit you select. What a great way to give to the community.  I hope you can join in the fun!

I so appreciate the generosity of local businesses.  Tres Fabu has been amazing in contributing 3% of their net proceeds all year long.  Rosario, Inn at Ship Bay, Outlook Inn, Seastar Lodging and Bayside Cottages have all contributed rooms for the Dental Van and the Food Coop and Roses have been more than generous supplying food.  We live in a very generous community and I love supporting local businesses that give back in such lovely ways!

Hope you have a great weekend!
Hilary
