Orcas Island Community Foundation’s primary goal is to improve the quality of life on Orcas Island. To accomplish this goal, OICF distributes grants from The Community Endowment Fund on an annual basis (Grant Application Form). The grants are supplemented with funds from the “Partners in Philanthropy”.

Since the introduction of the grant-making program in 1998, OICF has awarded $640,000 to over 55 island nonprofits from the Community Endowment Fund and facilitated the distribution of well over $1,600,000 in grants from other designated, advised and endowment funds under the management of the Foundation.
