The Seattle Foundation, established in 1946, has a successful investment history and currently manages an endowment of over $400 million.
Even in tough investment times, The Seattle Foundation maintains a relatively positive track record in their investment strategies. The Foundation employs professional money managers to invest their own funds and those of other foundations for a low 1% per year administration fee.
The Seattle Foundation provides all required IRS reporting documents. OICF’s primary investment objective is the safety and preservation of invested donor funds. The secondary objectives are maximization of income and capital growth. Since 1995 OICF’s annual return on investment has averaged nearly 10%.
